At Wooden-it-be-nice, every piece we create is a testament to bespoke craftsmanship—blending the warmth of solid timber, the precision of architectural metalwork, and the tactile luxury of artisan upholstery. Because your furniture is made specifically for you, we handle every stage of its journey with the utmost care.
1. Our White-Glove Delivery Process
We believe the experience of receiving your furniture should be as seamless as its design.
Concierge Scheduling: As your piece nears completion, our dedicated team will contact you to coordinate a convenient delivery window.
White-Glove Service: Our professional team does not simply drop off a package. We provide full white-glove service: our specialists will unpack, inspect, and position your furniture in your preferred location, ensuring all packaging materials are removed.
Access Requirements: Our pieces are often heavy, large, and intricately detailed. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to ensure that all access points—including doorways, hallways, elevators, and stairwells—can accommodate the furniture. Please review your measurements during the consultation phase; if specialized hoisting or structural adjustments are required, please notify us in advance.
Estimated Lead Times: Artisanal quality is never rushed. While we provide precise shipping estimates, the bespoke nature of our work means schedules may occasionally shift. We pledge to keep you fully informed should your timeline change.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your Wooden-it-be-nice piece for a lifetime. Because our work is tailored to your unique specifications, our return policy reflects the bespoke nature of our studio:
Bespoke & Made-to-Order Pieces: As these items are handcrafted to your specific material, size, and finish requirements, they are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable once production has commenced. We work closely with you through design sign-offs, material swatches, and detailed renders to ensure the final result aligns perfectly with your vision.
Ready-to-Ship Items: For pieces purchased from our “Ready-to-Ship” collection, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery. The item must be returned in its original, pristine condition. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Buyer.
Quality Assurance: In the rare event that a piece arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage sustained during transit, please notify our team within 48 hours of delivery. We reserve the right to repair, refinish, or replace the item to ensure it meets our exacting luxury standards.
Understanding Natural Materials
A hallmark of a Wooden-it-be-nice original is the use of authentic, premium materials.
Living Finishes: Wood grain, leather texture, and brass oxidation (patina) are markers of authenticity. These natural evolutions are not considered defects and are not eligible for returns.
Fabric Dye Lots: While we take great care, slight variations in color between samples and final fabric may occur due to manufacturer dye-lot differences.
Limited Warranty: Wooden-it-be-nice
At Wooden-it-be-nice, we take immense pride in our craftsmanship. Every piece of furniture is inspected prior to dispatch to ensure it meets our rigorous luxury standards. We offer this Limited Warranty to the original purchaser of our products.
1. Coverage Period
Structural Integrity: We warrant the structural frame of all wood and metal furniture against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.
Upholstery & Finish: Upholstery, foam density, and applied finishes (stains, lacquers, metal plating) are warranted against defects for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.
2. What This Warranty Covers
Defects in joinery, metal welds, or frame assembly.
Significant structural failure under normal residential use.
Material flaws that were present at the time of delivery (e.g., severe fraying of upholstery stitching, significant peeling of metal plating).
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
Our warranty is designed for the care of luxury goods and does not cover the following:
Natural Changes: Changes in wood color due to sunlight exposure, natural grain variations, or the development of a natural patina on brass/unlacquered metals.
Misuse & Neglect: Damage resulting from accidents, improper cleaning, pets, commercial or institutional use, or environmental conditions (e.g., placement in high-humidity areas, damp basements, or outdoors).
Standard Wear: Fabric pilling, slight softening of foam cushions, or minor surface scratches that occur through daily use.
Third-Party Alterations: Any modification to the furniture performed by a third party after delivery voids this warranty.
4. Claim Process
If you believe a piece has a manufacturing defect, please contact our studio at sales.admin@hermentgroup.com within 48 hours of discovering the issue. Please include:
Your original order number.
A detailed description of the issue.
High-quality photographs showing the defect in clear lighting.
Wooden-it-be-nice reserves the right to determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty. If deemed a manufacturing defect, we will, at our sole discretion, either repair the item to our original quality standards or provide a replacement.
5. Limitations
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. The Company’s liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective item and does not cover incidental costs, such as removal of the furniture from the premises or loss of use.
